Playoffs

Latest round first. Eight teams play the regular season. The top six reach the playoffs: seeds 1 and 2 go straight to the semifinals, seeds 3 to 6 play the wild card round. The semifinal winners meet in the Austrian Bowl for the Austrian championship. Standings are ranked by winning percentage; in the regular season a margin of at most 35 points per game counts. Ties are broken by head-to-head record, then the higher strength of schedule (average winning percentage of the opponents), head-to-head point differential, overall point differential, points scored and fewest points allowed, a playoff game if two teams are tied, and finally a draw. With three or more tied teams, head-to-head results only count if all of them played each other equally often.
